Google shared the plans about the Pixel series devices, mostly the Pixelbook that will debut in coming days. The company shared its vision for Pixelbook devices in the Cloud Next 2019 session. The session named as “The Premium, Versatile, & Secure: Introducing Google Hardware for Business” which focused on Google’s take on Business hardware. With Pixelbook and Pixel Slate devices made for individual and business users, the company, explained the initiative, motive and plans for this series of smart Chrome OS-based Tablets and laptops.
The Pixelbook devices launched in 2017 were made for the busy people, like the executives, managers and many more who need to use the computer for gathering the information and communicating with the others. The Pixel Slate was made for the individuals and the professionals with minimum need of using the computers while on-the-go. Now, the company said that the new generation devices are suitable for Productivity on-the-go. According to the Lead Product Manager Steve Jacobs, Google Pixelbooks will become more productive for the people on-the-go. The medical practitioners, Sales executives, and many others who need to use multiple programs will find the coming generation Pixelbooks more useful.
As the work environment is changing rapidly with the employees working from home or working from outside of the office need a compelling alternative for the bulky laptops. That’s why the company is aiming at the same customer base with coming versions of Pixelbook devices. As of now, the company has no announcements about the models, launch date, pricing or the specifications, but it is clear that it might debut at the end of this year or in the start of next year. With the long session at Cloud Next 2019, it is evident that the company is closer to launching the newer generation devices to the public very soon.
